Anyone find that the forum search function is NOT working? Or is it just me?

Yeah, I have noticed that. That's a big problem and I'm working on it.

Just got word that the Search function is undergoing maintenance. It may be a few days before it is up and running again.

Howard, another feature to report up the chain that doesn't seem to work right on ActiveBoard is when adding a URL link to a post. If one forgot to set the link to "open in a new window" then saves the post and then tries to edit the post to make the link "open in a new window" it will not save it that way. Even if you display the edited post in html and manually add the "target=_blank" command it will not save that either. Once it saves a link it seems the "open" option can not be changed. Kind of minor but frustrating.

The "open in new window" issue might be related to current maintenance as I did not have the problem you describe when I was editing entries a few days ago. Or maybe it's just that I have more powers as the "moderator".
Lately I've been using the "square bracket" "[]" url= tag to insert links that open a new window. That seems to be working just fine.
For example, I type in "["url=http://www.rv-dreams.com"]"RV-Dreams.com"["/url"]" (without the quotation marks) directly into the post.
If I remove all the quotation marks, this is what people see in the post: RV-Dreams.com. That's a direct link that opens in a new window.
Since that option is available in this forum, no need to worry about forgetting the target="_blank" in the HTML "<a href=" link method.
Now I don't pretend to know what I'm talking about here, but I've noticed others using the "[url=" method, and it seems simpler and works great.
