Thanks for the additional information Rob. If you don't mind me asking what ratio rear-end do you have in your Ford? I like you will probably sit on 65mph as anything higher in my mind is too much.

The differential is a 3.73 limited slip (the truck is not 4WD). Wheels are 17" aluminum and tires are LT245/75R17E. Tach shows about 1,700 - 1,750 RPM at 65 MPH (per the Garmin GPS - the speedometer reads a couple of MPH fast).

Always go big.....stay away from Ford 6.0 and 6.4......troublesome.......8ft bed....longer wheelbase is more stable....have you looked at Rams....the cummins is the BEST diesel on the market....

With a 40' Rv the pin weight is over 2000lbs,your gonna need a 350 or 450.......Stay away from 6.0 and 6.4 diesels.....
