We are all pulling for you, Howard. We know how hard it is to get warranty service on an old decrepit unit like yours. Shameful part is that they won't give you an IV of 25 year old scotch. That would either have you up and dancing in no time or give you a really bad headache. There is risk in everything.
Seriously, you are in our prayers. Get well you old goldbrick.

Howard & Linda,
Being out in mountains of Montana I missed all the news about you're ordeal, but it very good to see you looking so well under the circumstances. PE is a very serious matter, you attending to it early was smart on the part of you two as a team, and a potentially life saving move.
Scrolling through the responses it is wonderful to see all the support you've received. Also that you are using your incentive spirometer.
Add my thoughts to those around you wishing a full recovery and best of luck with your important follow-up therapy.
Be well, live well, stay strong.

They just took him off all IV's. The plan is to leave "camp" McKenzie tomorrow morning!!!!
Thanks everyone! Whew!
Linda,
Thanks for the continued good news. I've seldom ever been hooked up to an IV, but the two times that I did (cataract surgery back in May), it wasn't really comfortable. At least I am fortunate that I was right at 67 years old before I experienced my first. We are praying for continued improvement and a clear road ahead for both of you.
Now, as for "camp" McKenzie, will we need to look out for an upcoming "camp review" as to just how much space the "campers" got to enjoy, perhaps photos of the staff and amenities, and especially any reviews of any food fare that might be available?

Not sure what all the amenities are at Camp McKenzie, but it looks like you got the benefit of "full hookups" with the double IV's!!
Hope your next "camp" has much more of the IT factor!!

Did not know Howard has been sick. Just catching up with everything after being without wifi cell and stuff. Glad to hear Howard is on the mend. Maybe my prayers can be retro-active.
Hoping Linda is taking care of herself as well as taking care of Howard. We need both of you in good shape.
Wonderful news. Continue to get well.
