Any former manufactured home dwellers out there?
(Preview)
This is kind of counter to the purpose of this website and forum, but I'm wondering if there are former manufactured home dwellers out there who can give me some advice. My beloved wife, Robyn, passed away on July 24th, so our RV dreams are gone too. I live in GA. Robyn always considered Florida home, and...

This questions is for the ladies or men. I would like to hear from the people who were very reluctant to try the RV life style or just traveling in a 5er and now love full timing or traveling in a 5er? I am sure there are some of you that stood with you fist so tight that you knuckles were white and kept saying no...

How Lucky We Are
(Preview)
Discussing with my wife how lucky we are, as we look around our town at all the people who have given up on life, over weight, out of shape, seldom if ever venturing out of the town they grew up in. Every day we observe people walking around like robots, depressed, few interests, kind of waiting to die. T...

Remodeling an RV
(Preview)
Not sure if this should go under RV Furniture but actually pertains to everything inside, not just the pretty stuff. How many folks here have bought an older RV and replaced the inside stuff because of wear & tear, previous owners abuse or just because it's outdated??? I'm thinking that as long as...

The Key Solution
(Preview)
For the past couple of years as a work camper, I’ve seen visitors in day use parks or campgrounds either lock themselves out of their vehicle or lose their keys. I recently assisted someone who lost their keys while hiking and had to get a relative to drive 85 miles to bring a spare set. To add to their trou...

The signs out front, here we go!

The house is listed, and a for sale sign has found itself a new home next to my mail box. I am sad, and excited at the same time after 24 years in it. It's kind of like fishing, now we get to wait and see if we get any bites. Wish us luck. I will work on the motorhome tomorrow to remind myself why I am doing this...

Good morning all, Rod here. For the last 3 weeks I have been coming home after work, changing clothes, throwing the ball for Sam our chocolate lab and then painting trim on the house until dark. Low Bridges
(Preview)
I have recently had a few close calls with low bridges that could easily have resulted in a bad accident. Does anyone know of a good GPS system or add on for my Garmin that would give a low bridge warning? Something like a speed camera POI list could work, but I can't seem to find anything. Many thanks.
