Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

RV Furniture

Needing help finding a good place to purchase either a J lounge or sleeper sofa and 2 recliners.  Was hoping to find some used or reconditioned to fit the two back slides.  Brad and Hall and Flexsteel are a little pricey and was hoping some of you might know of an RV store that handles replacement furniture.

Thanks in advance for your help!

There are RV surplus stores in multiple places in the country. I know of ones in Elkhart IN, Eugene OR and Centralia WA. I put "rv surplus" into a Google search and had hits in many other states.

We bought our replacements from Lazy-Boy. Found two of their smaller recliners and a sofa sleeper that would fit through the door with a little disassembly.

Thanks Bear!  Have been checking out the local stores here and may have found something that will work.

Depending on how much you want to spend and how long you are willing to wait ... Lambright Comfort Chairs (just south of Shipshewana, IN) makes very high quality furniture that is tailored for RV's. His furniture is very well made and very high quality (Amish quality).

X2 - But I will comment - for what is paid for some of the junk (IMO) RV OEM supplied furniture the Lambright furniture is not anymore expensive.  Trouble is many OEM require one to take the supplied furniture.  We didn't have to but many do.

Anyway, we've had Lambright for years and it has held up excellently.  Sent H & L there years ago and they liked it very much.

Really nice people.  Just don't park your RV next to the hitching posts.  :)

BTW, it can be bought on-line and many times at the major shows like the Tampa in January.  But it more fun to go to the shop where it's  made and displayed.

 Bear,

Could you elaborate on the sofa sleeper that you found at La-Z-Boy?  The wife has sold all of her embroidery machines and such and we need to put a sofa/sleeper in the rear of the coach.  Can you suggest one that makes out into a full or queen sized bed in some fashion?

Bill and I replaced our recliners with Lazy Boy’s - and we LOVE them! Very comfy and fit the space perfectly!

Better to contact RV retailers. Otherwise, Craigslist & eBay could be good options.

You can mail LazyBoy(https:/www.la-z-boy.com/) or ZeroGravity manufacturers

Well, I once embarked on a road trip across the country in my trusty RV, eager to explore the great outdoors. Along the journey, I encountered a quaint little town nestled in the mountains. As I parked my RV for a pit stop, I stumbled upon a hidden gem of an RV store called "Trailblazer's Haven."

Inside, I was greeted by a friendly staff member who shared my passion for both RVing and finding great deals. They showed me a selection of gently used and reconditioned J lounges, sleeper sofas, and recliners that were perfect for my RV's back slides. The prices were surprisingly affordable, and the quality was top-notch.

Thrilled with my find, I made some upgrades to my RV's interior, transforming it into a cozy and comfortable haven for my travels. Thanks to Trailblazer's Haven, I not only found the furniture I needed but also made a memorable stop on my journey.
