Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Thanksgiving

Wishing our American friends a very Happy Thankgiving!

In Canada Thanksgiving is celebrated in October so we get to celebrate twice when south of the border. 😀

We will be breaking our tradition of Coconut Shrimp for Thanksgiving dinner.  It will be turkey and fixing with a few expat friends.... I know turkey on Thanksgiving sounds strange.

Happy Thanksgiving from South of the border.

Also, I need to remind everyone to be sure and turn back your scales by 10 pounds after today.

Hope you all had a happy day with friends and family.

Used sucralose for pie, cranberries, lemon sauce for fruit salad, and low/no sodium for dressing, gravy, vegetables, etc. all to make sure Dave stays with me for years to come. 😉

Happy Thanksgiving to all. We had a great little pot luck dinner with about 50 or so fellow RVers here at our current winter home. Good time for sure. Golf today ... what more could I hope for?

Thanksgiving 2017i is coming to a close! It has been quite nice here in North middle Tennessee, Sunny and highs in the 50s to mid 60s. Next up Christmas have to see what December brings or way! Been invited to my daughter and her family for Christmas, not sure if i can make that happen this year! have too many doctor appointments, aches and pains especially at first wakeup! If it stays above freezing up there I may reconsider!

We had a great time sharing Thanksgiving with family. It was bittersweet since it is our last Thanksgiving before we hit the road. We will miss the holidays with family but it is exciting to think of the adventures ahead and try to imagine where we might be next year...who knows?????

We stayed at the Van Horn RV Park in Van Horn, Texas and the Management provided an absolutely delicious Thanksgiving dinner for everyone staying there (figuring all of us were away from home/family on the holiday). I believe they do this on Christmas also. What a nice gesture - and the folks there were just wonderful.
