Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Wonderful of you to share such detailed info and comparing year one versus two, versus three versus four etc. Great valuable information.

Congrats you guys!!! Are there any fee's involved with the campground group you belong to? How many new campgrounds and areas does using the campground group allow you to see while out and about? Do you eel restricted by it? Just curious.

I just visited your website for the first time. Great website!!! I love the amount of info/data you have included. Your "Bucket List" will be added to our travels in the future.

Your site will benefit any newbies that are planning a budget, and your info on Thousand Trails has given me new insight on this form of camping. We have never given any thought to using membership clubs, now I need to explore these options.

A big "Thank You" for your efforts to help RV'ers.

The biggest money saver we have is our Thousand Trails membership (which we bought used). We have 60 campgrounds across the US, 33 of them are in WA, OR, and CA. Our yearly maint dues were $620.69 last year and since we have stayed 125 nights, this averages to $4.97 a night, so far. This works well for us. Some parks are great, others not so much. Any membership camping club is only worth it if you use it.

You've obviously found a sweet spot that works for you. Proof that you don't have to spend a comparative high amount for places to park the rig. We will be taking over Cindi's dad's TT VIP premium membership when we go FT, we didn't really have a good feel for it's benefit for us until reading your accounting and a couple of others on the forum over the past few years... now we feel that it offers some some really good options for planning purposes and we expect we'll get good value for our intended use.

Congrats on year 4.

sounds good to me except 5 months away from my house per year is more than we want/need
our nightly fees run in the 60$ per day though where we go
I like the rv deal for the winter months but as the old saying goes there no place like your home
to each their own
