Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Seeking Workamper positions "near" Clearwater FL

I know we haven't even started our AK jobs yet - but wanted to get a head-start on asking if anyone knows of any place within an hour or two of Clearwater (west of Tampa), that hires workampers?  My initial target area is Bradenton/Sarosota, but willing to consider other places.  Ideally we'd like to be able to get a FHU site and also make some money - maybe 15 hours a week each over and above what's required for the site.  A lot of places I've seen hiring ONLY give you the site!

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!  You can PM me any ideas!

On edit: p.s. Should maybe mention we are looking for winter (Jan, Feb and March even through April would be ok!) of 2017

I don't know how far west you want to go but CalAm Resorts ( Phoenix Az) is hiring for the upcoming season and they had people starting in Jan last year for the busy season. They like you to stay until April 15.
We worked for food services. They require 24 hrs week per couple and pay for any extra hours. It's a 5 star resort and the work isn't difficult.

Thanks for the suggestion but we want to stay in FL. Guess when I said willing to consider other areas, should specify I mean still in FL, maybe just further from the target area. Thanks for the suggestion though!

FYI KOA in St Pete is hiring for winter positions, one of my fellow workampers here with us is going to be working there in housekeeping.
