Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Another Truck tire question

We're buying a 2003 f-350 7.3L CC 4X4 longbed with SRW. Thinking about putting on some new tire.

For those pulling a 5th wheel with a SRW truck are you using "E" rated tires or something heaver ?

Also what tire are you using?  Looking at Goodyear Wranglers or Michelin LTX.

   Thanks Wayne

I was in the same dilemma as you a month or so ago and went with Michelin LTX M/S2. They are E rated and I am very happy with them.

We have a 2008 F-350 SRW long box Crew cab with Goodyear E's. They have held up well. How heavy is your 5th wheel?

The Micheli's are a great tire. We ran the AT/2's with no issues.

No 5th wheel yet. Will be restricted to 14,000 because of trucks limit of 20,000 gcvw. Looked at both Goodyear Wranglers and Michelin LTX they're priced about equal. The Michelin are higher mileage so we'll go with them. LT 265/75 R 16E 123R Wayne
