Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

I wonder if Mozilla might be the problem because my husband has been using only Chrome for some months and I just switched totally over to it last week since I was having weird problems on Mozilla. I haven't had problems here though but could be time of day maybe.

Cheryl & Mitch,

I have opened a Support Ticket for your issue.  No one else is reporting the issue at this time.  I may need to request more information from you later to see if we can get the problem resolved.

Howard,

I use Mozilla's FIrefox almost exclusively, but I seldom ever use the "Recent Post" feature.  When I do after someone has mentioned the problem, specifically Jack Mayer and now Mitch, it has worked for me.

I'll try to use it more to see if I have problems with Mozilla.

Terry

Hey Mitch & Cheryl,

Here is what support sent back to me:

Hi Howard,

It sounds like something on their computer, perhaps internet security or
possibly a browser addon may be interfering. I haven't yet been able to
duplicate myself using Mozilla Firefox (latest version), which also
suggests that it may be something on their computers.

Can you ask them to also try viewing the forum in a private browsing tab
in Firefox (hotkey CTRL+SHIFT+P), and attempting to go to Recent Posts?
If that works it is more likely a browser addon.

Can you also ask them if they are using internet security in some
capacity?

Cheers,

Jeff

Try the private browsing tab as suggested and let us know what internet security you are using.

This may be too simple, but did you try clearing all cookies and then reboot?

I did. It's working on IE and my tablet, so must be a Mozilla problem.

Cheryl & Mitch,

They are asking me what version of Mozilla you are using and what internet security (i.e. Norton, McAfee, Kaspersky, etc.) if any.

I am on Mozilla, 32.0, Cheryl was about to upgrade to that.

it is working for me in chrome, and for cheryl on mozilla.

using avast 2014.09.0.2021  140913-1 (guess those are the files).

I pasted my current add-in's, and verified adblock and noscript were turned off for site

I am on Firefox 32.0.1. Correction - it works in Internet Explorer, NOT in Mozilla.

Latest reply from Support:

OK this is a tough one, but this doesn't seem to be a bug with
ActiveBoard. As I cannot duplicate it to test, I would strongly
recommend that they consider following things depending on how critical
the issue is to them:

1. If possible, using Chrome or IE would require the fewest number of
additional steps (since it already is known to work properly).
2. If Firefox is preferred, try disabling all internet security and test
again in private browsing with no addons.
3. Optionally, it might be sufficient to reinstall Firefox.
4. If still having issues, as a last resort... attempt to boot into safe
mode with internet and test again.

If none of those help,  I'm not sure that I have any additional
suggestions to try at the moment.

Cheers,

Jeff
