Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Thousand Trails membership

Does anyone have one and recieved a letter asking them to attend an information seminar to "clarify the facts" about the sale to ELS.
We have a membership to Out Door World which was bought by Thousand Trails several years ago.. I am just thinking this is a Sales meeting trying to get us to upgrade to something ...
Has anyone gone to one of these... I do not want to go and listen to why I should spend $3000.00 to buy an upgraded membership..
Any information would be helpful.. they want us to come on Father's Day of all days..

Members of the ttnmembers Yahoo group have gone and it is a sales meeting. Reportedly the "upgrade" is $6,000 and is a ten year membership not a lifetime membership.

Yes, We were OD members only and got a letter a few years back. We opted to upgrade @ around $6000 but we picked up all the TT,NACO,Mid-Atlantic parks.  Yes it is a sales meeting

Here is the link to their latest promotion.  They are giving regional deals that have good points and as usual, some not so good.  Bob

I hve been to a couple, and yes, as everyone stated, it is a sale meeting.  For us, the $230 per year we pay for our membership with well with it, even though we only are camping at OW camps, but they are the ones we like.

THe $6000 upgrade is not for me at all.  We have told the this several years in a row, and still get bugged every year.

In spite of all that, we are still pretty happy with our membership.
